Each reader’s theater script has several Detail pages from which to choose; each of these pages identifies content standards by state or by the new Common Core State Standards. On each page, you will also find suggested vocabulary words and phrases found within the script. HAPPY recommends choosing vocabulary from texts currently being used, such as a reader’s theater script, or from other real world contexts. Limited access to free scripts is available to ALL HAPPY guests. To access the full library, you must be a registered member.
Recommended Professional Books

Words Their Way (updated and expanded with a vocabulary section in July 2011) and Bringing Words to Life will help transform acceptable vocabulary instruction into exciting, meaningful and memorable adventures with words. Links to purchase these books are located at the bottom of the Resources page.
